On the MONDO you can follow the Sun’s apparent path across the earth. You can see where the sun is positioned at noon and read off the time.
12 o’clock CET. Using the movable Time scale ring, you can set Central European time or any other world time.
The MONDO Globe is set up like our earth and is lit in exactly the same way: the day and night side, sunrise and sunset are visible.

The MONDO can be set up for any location in the world. Installation on a solid base, securing material, tools and a manual are supplied. Suitable stands made from granite or stainless steel are available as accessories
The 50th degree of latitude
The world globe (16 cm) and other parts are manufactured from stainless steel, the optical element integrated in the time scale ring is made of weatherproof acrylic glass.
The polar axis points to the celestial pole
The globe is produced in a lost wax casting process: the wax model and the ceramic mould are each used for only one casting. Careful artisanal crafting and a wealth of experience is required for this casting process, which is steeped in tradition.
